Holotype (unique): ZUMT 54384. Species as nubibera in main heading but nubifera in the table of contents, and in the captions of plates 96-97; nubifera regarded as correct. •Synonym of Remora remora (Linnaeus 1758) -- (Lachner 1973:638 [ref. 7221], Lachner & Post 1990:727 [ref. 18541], Lindberg et al. 1997:27 [ref. 23547] as nubibera, Parenti 2021:570 [ref. 38651]). Current status: Synonym of Remora remora (Linnaeus 1758). Echeneidae. Habitat: marine.
