Type catalog: Braga & Piacentino 1994:106 [ref. 23697]. •Synonym of Pseudopercis semifasciata (Cuvier 1829) -- (Rosa & Rosa 1998:858 [ref. 25850], Cousseau & Perrotta 2000:132 [ref. 25942]). Current status: Synonym of Pseudopercis semifasciata (Cuvier 1829). Pinguipedidae. Habitat: marine.
