Distribution: Eastern Indian Ocean, western Pacific: Myanmar, Christmas Island (Australia) and Indonesia east to Hawaiian Islands (U.S.A.) and Tuamotu Archipelago (French Polynesia), north to southern Japan, south to northern Australia and New Caledonia. Habitat: marine.
