rotundifrons, Clinus Barnard [K. H.] 1937:63, Fig. 4 [Annals of the South African Museum v. 32 (pt 2, no. 6); ref. 197] Oudekraal, south of Camps Bay, west side of Cape Peninsula, South Africa. Holotype (unique): SAM 18587. •Valid as Gymnoclinus rotundifrons (Barnard 1937) -- (Penrith 1969:94 [ref. 20726]). •Valid as Clinus rotundifrons Barnard 1937 -- (Smith 1986:764 [ref. 5712], Patzner et al. 2009:466 [ref. 30396], Holleman 2022:397 [ref. 39961]). Current status: Valid as Clinus rotundifrons Barnard 1937. Clinidae. Distribution: Southeastern Atlantic, southwestern Indian Ocean: Namibia south to Cape of Good Hope (South Africa), then east to False Bay (Western Cape, South Africa). Habitat: marine.
