Paratypes: AMS IA.7532-33 (1, 1), UMMZ 120388 (now 1), USNM 109466 [ex UMMZ 120388] (1). •Synonym of Glossamia aprion (Richardson 1842) -- (Paxton et al. 1989:555 [ref. 12442], Allen et al. 2006:1104 [ref. 29004]). Current status: Synonym of Glossamia aprion (Richardson 1842). Apogonidae: Apogoninae. Habitat: freshwater.
