Syntypes: UW 42937 (1) [ex BC 62-411, ex ZIN 33671], ZIN 12916 (1), 24201 (1), 33671 (5, now 4). Type catalog: Voskoboinikova & Orlovskaya 2020:39 [ref. 38114]. Current status: Valid as Eumicrotremus tartaricus Lindberg & Legeza 1955. Cyclopteridae: Eumicrotreminae. Distribution: Northwestern Pacific: southern Okhotsk Sea to Japan Sea at Peter the Great Bay, and Pacific coast off southern Kuril Islands. Habitat: marine.
