Campos, correct epithet would be camposae, not to be corrected according to the ICZN. •Valid as Pachypops camposi Fowler 1954 -- (Chao 1978:42 [ref. 6983]). •Synonym of Pachypops trifilis (Müller & Troschel 1849) -- (Casatti 2002:10 [ref. 25936], Casatti in Reis et al. 2003:600 [ref. 27061], Parenti 2020:37 [ref. 37439]). Current status: Synonym of Pachypops trifilis (Müller & Troschel 1849). Sciaenidae. Habitat: freshwater, brackish.
