Holotype: MCZ 28420. •Valid as Chlopsis longidens (Garman 1899) -- (Tighe & McCosker 2003:1 [ref. 26920], but probably the leptocephalus of another species). Current status: Valid as Chlopsis longidens (Garman 1899). Chlopsidae. Distribution: Eastern Pacific. Habitat: marine.
