Current status: Valid as Pantosteus jordani Evermann 1893. Catostomidae: Catostominae. Distribution: North America: Missouri River basin, from the Black Hills of South Dakota to western Wyoming, Montana and Alberta (western U.S.A.). Habitat: freshwater.
