Also in Rafinesque 1820:49 [ref. 3592]. •Synonym of Semotilus atromaculatus (Mitchill 1818) -- (Gilbert 1998:73 [ref. 23395], Scott & Crossman 1998:511 [ref. 24570]). Current status: Synonym of Semotilus atromaculatus (Mitchill 1818). Leuciscidae: Plagopterinae. Habitat: freshwater.
