harengula, Leuciscus Valenciennes [A.] in Cuvier & Valenciennes 1844:303, Pl. 500 [Histoire naturelle des poissons v. 17; ref. 1010] Irrawaddy River, Myanmar. Syntypes: MNHN A-9531 (3), A-9532 (4). •Questionably the same as Amblypharyngodon atkinsonii (Blyth 1860) -- (Talwar & Jhingran 1991:335 [ref. 20764], Kottelat 2013:73 [ref. 32989]). Current status: Uncertain as Amblypharyngodon atkinsonii (Blyth 1860). Danionidae: Rasborinae. Habitat: freshwater.
