Type catalog: Blanc & Hureau 1972:695-696 [ref. 21541] with MNHN A.844 as holotype. •Synonym of Liza vaigiensis (Quoy & Gaimard 1825) -- (Dor 1984:192 [ref. 29757], Thomson 1997:538 [ref. 23428]). •Synonym of Ellochelon vaigiensis (Quoy & Gaimard 1825) -- (Kottelat 2013:276 [ref. 32989]). Current status: Synonym of Ellochelon vaigiensis (Quoy & Gaimard 1825). Mugilidae. Habitat: freshwater, brackish, marine.
