salar, Centropristes Richardson [J.] 1839:95 [Proceedings of the Zoological Society of London 1839 (pt 7); ref. 3732] Port Arthur, Tasmania, Australia. Holotype (unique): BMNH 1855.9.19.237. Also described in Richardson 1842:78 [ref. 13097]. Original genus should have been Centropristis. •Synonym of Arripis trutta (Forster 1801) -- (Paulin 1993:462 [ref. 20997], Bray et al. 2006:1329 [ref. 29091]). Current status: Synonym of Arripis trutta (Forster 1801). Arripidae. Habitat: brackish, marine. |
