Type catalog: Collette & Knapp 1967:65 [ref. 20211], Bart & Taylor 1993:60 [ref. 20906], Matthews & Turner 2019:211 [ref. 36735]. •Synonym of Etheostoma radiosum (Hubbs & Black 1941) -- (Page 1983:125 [ref. 22189]). •Synonym of Etheostoma radiosum (Hubbs & Black 1941) but a valid subspecies -- (Kuehne & Barbour 1983:143 [ref. 38055], Scharpf 2008:30 [ref. 30399], Page & Burr 2011:576 [ref. 31215]). •Valid as Etheostoma cyanorum (Moore & Rigney 1952) -- (Matthews & Turner 2019:211 [ref. 36735]). Current status: Valid as Etheostoma cyanorum (Moore & Rigney 1952). Percidae: Etheostomatinae. Distribution: North America: Blue River (Oklahoma, U.S.A.). Habitat: freshwater.
