Type catalog: Bauchot 1967:11 [ref. 20734]. •Valid as Parablennius goreensis (Valenciennes 1836) -- (Bath 1990:909 [ref. 19373], Bath & Wirtz 1992:272 [ref. 19831], Bath 1996:91 [ref. 22687], Patzner et al. 2009:458 [ref. 30396], Williams & Springer in Carpenter & De Angelis 2016:2805 [ref. 34618], Carballo et al. 2021:60 [ref. 39250], Fermon et al. 2022:275 [ref. 39448]). Current status: Valid as Parablennius goreensis (Valenciennes 1836). Blenniidae: Salariinae. Distribution: Eastern Atlantic: Mauritania south to Gabon, including Canary Islands (Spain). Habitat: marine.
