monserrati, Nudagobioides Roxas [H. A.] & Ablan [G. L.] 1940:309, Pl. 8 [Philippine Journal of Science v. 73 (no. 3); ref. 13218] Pangasinan Province, Luzon Island, Philippines. Holotype: BSM 31953 (destroyed in WWII). Paratypes: BSM (3, destroyed in WWII). •Valid as Caragobius monserrati (Roxas & Ablan 1940) -- (Larson & Murdy 2001:3593 [ref. 26293]). •Synonym of Caragobius urolepis (Bleeker 1852) -- (Murdy & Shibukawa 2003:5 [ref. 27145], Kottelat 2013:433 [ref. 32989], Parenti 2021:65 [ref. 38603]). Current status: Synonym of Caragobius urolepis (Bleeker 1852). Gobiidae: Amblyopinae. Habitat: freshwater, brackish.
