Neotype: ZIN 42386. Appeared first as above on 12 Jan.; then in Ayres 1855:23 [ref. 159]. Neotype designated by Chernova 2008:833 [ref. 30236]. •Synonym of Liparis agassizii Putnam 1874 -- (Kido 1988:185 [ref. 12287], Chernova et al. 2004:20 [ref. 27592]). •Valid as Liparis takashimensis Nojima 1936 -- (Lindberg & Krasyukova 1987:383 [ref. 15964], Chernova 2008:841 [ref. 30236], Parin et al. 2014:341 [ref. 33547], Dyldin & Orlov 2022:218 [ref. 39115]). Current status: Valid as Liparis takashimensis Nojima 1936. Liparidae. Distribution: Northwestern Pacific: Sea of Okhotsk. Habitat: marine.
