The gender of the genus Engryprosopon is neuter. •Synonym of Asterorhombus intermedius (Bleeker 1866) -- (Li & Wang 1995:180 [ref. 16193]). •Valid as Asterorhombus annulatus (Weber 1913) -- (Amaoka & Mihara 2001:192 [ref. 25383], Hensley & Randall 2003:4 [ref. 27676]). •Valid as Engyprosopon annulatum (Weber 1913) -- (Hensley 2005:446 [ref. 28315] as annulatus). Current status: Valid as Engyprosopon annulatum (Weber 1913). Bothidae. Distribution: Timor Sea. Habitat: marine.
