Holotype (unique): RMNH 6771 (1 of 6). •Valid as Achiroides leucorhynchos Bleeker 1851 -- (Roberts 1989:183 [ref. 6439] as leucorhynchus, Kottelat et al. 1993:170 [ref. 23448], Rainboth 1996:221 [ref. 22772], Parenti & Lim 2005:195 [ref. 28285], Kottelat 2013:463 [ref. 32989], Taki et al. 2021:487 [ref. 39830]). Current status: Valid as Achiroides leucorhynchos Bleeker 1851. Soleidae. Distribution: Southeast Asia: Indonesia and peninsular Thailand. Habitat: freshwater, brackish, marine.
