Paralectotypes: ANSP 5990-5997 (8, lost), UMMZ 213799 (2). Type catalog: Böhlke 1984:84 [ref. 13621] (see Comments); Gilbert 1998:117 [ref. 23395] who accepted Böhlke's use of holotype as establishing a lectotype. Böhlke 1984:84 [ref. 13621] states ANSP 5990-5997 listed as additional types, but not found, and neither Cope nor Fowler mentioned more than one specimen. •Synonym of Campostoma anomalum (Rafinesque 1820), subspecies pullum (Agassiz 1854) -- (Gilbert 1998:117 [ref. 23395]). Current status: Synonym of Campostoma anomalum (Rafinesque 1820). Leuciscidae: Pogonichthyinae. Habitat: freshwater.
