Current status: Valid as Trachydoras nattereri (Steindachner 1881). Doradidae: Doradinae. Distribution: South America: Amazon and Essequibo River basins (Brazil, Ecuador, Bolivia, Colombia, Peru and Guyana). Habitat: freshwater.
