Current status: Valid as Scolopsis regina Whitley 1937. Nemipteridae. Distribution: Eastern Indian Ocean, southwestern Pacific: Montebello Islands (Western Australia) north to Northern Territory, then south to Brisbane (Queensland, Australia). Habitat: marine.
