Ferraris 2007:294 [ref. 29155] indicates types were not found at MACN. •Valid as Rineloricaria catamarcensis (Berg 1895) -- (Isbrücker 1980:104 [ref. 2303], Isbrücker 1981:87 [ref. 5522], Burgess 1989:442 [ref. 12860], Haro et al. 1996:6 [ref. 25004], Isbrücker 2001:29, 32 [ref. 25653], López et al. 2002:60 [ref. 26808], Isbrücker 2002:29 [ref. 27178], Ferraris in Reis et al. 2003:341 [ref. 27061], López et al. 2003:48 [ref. 27366], Menni 2004:81 [ref. 28131], Rodriguez & Miquelarena 2005:2 [ref. 28173], Ferraris 2007:294 [ref. 29155], Mirande & Koerber 2015:46 [ref. 35117]).
