VIII of summary), Pl. 3 (fig. 7) [ref. 19674]. •Valid as Imparfinis microcephalus (Lütken 1874) -- (Mees & Cala 1989:382 [ref. 14277], Burgess 1989:277 [ref. 12860]). •Valid as Rhamdiopsis microcephala (Lütken 1874) -- (Britski 2001:20 [ref. 26046], Bockmann & Guazzelli in Reis et al. 2003:425 [ref. 27061], Ferraris 2007:202 [ref. 29155] with author as Reinhardt, Bockmann & Castro 2010:674 [ref. 31072]). Current status: Valid as Rhamdiopsis microcephala (Lütken 1874). Heptapteridae: Heptapterinae. Distribution: Upper Paraná and São Francisco River basins, Brazil. Habitat: freshwater.
