Holotype (unique): BMNH 1909.7.9.25. •Synonym of Mormyrus caballus Boulenger 1898, but a valid subspecies -- (Gosse 1984:98 [ref. 6169], Munene et al. 2021:21 [ref. 39283]). Current status: Synonym of Mormyrus caballus Boulenger 1898. Mormyridae. Habitat: freshwater. |
