Paratypes: LACM 24145 (1). •Valid as Chlopsis kazuko Lavenberg 1988 -- (Smith 1989:93 [ref. 13285], Tighe & McCosker 2003:1 [ref. 26920], Love et al. 2005:17 [ref. 37547] as kazunoko, Page et al. 2013:60 [ref. 32708], Tighe et al. 2015:28 [ref. 34117]). Current status: Valid as Chlopsis kazuko Lavenberg 1988. Chlopsidae. Distribution: Eastern Pacific: southern tip of Baja California Sur and Jalisco (Mexico) south to Costa Rica. Habitat: marine.
