dauresi, Epiplatys olbrechtsi Romand [R.] 1985:10, Fig. 2C [Revue française d'Aquariologie Herpétologie v. 12 (no. 1); ref. 17270] Waterhole in a drying stream, vicinity of Bouaké, near the village of Betnouanbo, central Ivory Coast. Holotype: MRAC 84-31-P-1. Paratypes: MRAC 84-31-P-2-7 (1 ea.). •Synonym of Epiplatys olbrechtsi Poll 1941, but a valid subspecies dauresi Romand 1985 as described -- (Romand in Lévêque et al. 1992:639 [ref. 21590], Wildekamp 1996:104 [ref. 23649], Seegers 1997:16 [ref. 23895], Lazara 2001:110 [ref. 25711]). •Valid as Epiplatys dauresi Romand 1985 -- (Huber 2024:53 [ref. 41036]). Current status: Valid as Epiplatys dauresi Romand 1985. Nothobranchiidae. Distribution: West Africa: central northern Ivory Coast. Habitat: freshwater.
