bispinosus, Gadopsis Sanger [A.] 1984:93, Fig. 1 [Proceedings of the Royal Society of Victoria v. 96 (no. 2); ref. 17451] Western branch of King River, 2 kilometers upstream of junction with eastern branch, near Cheshunt, Victoria (36°52'S, 146°23'E), Australia. Holotype: NMV A3281. Paratypes: AMS I.24351-001 (6); NMV A3282 (5); plus additional uncatalogued material (37). •Valid as Gadopsis bispinosus Sanger 1984 -- (Jackson et al. in McDowall 1996:188 [ref. 22909], Unmack 2001:1062 [ref. 25797], Allen et al. 2002:205 [ref. 25930], Paxton et al. 2006:1040 [ref. 28995]). •Valid as Gadopsis bispinosa Sanger 1984 -- (Kuiter 2018:40 [ref. 36369]). Current status: Valid as Gadopsis bispinosa Sanger 1984. Percichthyidae. Distribution: Australia: inland drainages of the Great Dividing Range from New South Wales to Victoria. Habitat: freshwater.
