Paratypes: AMS I.27500-001 (1); FAKU 111771-73 (3); HUMZ 104866 (1); NMNZ P.24136-37 (1, 1); NSMT-P 41848 (1), 41927 (1), 41947 (1), 44284 (1), 44296-97 (1, 1), 44299 (1), 43079-80 (1, 1). •Valid as Xenobrama microlepis Yatsu & Nakamura 1989 -- (Yatsu in Amaoka et al. 1990:271 [ref. 16024], Pequeño 1997:83 [ref. 23536], Bray et al. 2006:1187 [ref. 29088], Stewart et al. 2015:1271 [ref. 34201]). Current status: Valid as Xenobrama microlepis Yatsu & Nakamura 1989. Bramidae. Distribution: Subantarctic South Pacific south of Australia. Habitat: marine.
