Described in more detail and lectotype selected in Böhlke & Cervigón 1967:4 [ref. 20754]. •Valid as Coralliozetus punctatus (Cervigón 1966) -- (Cervigón 1994:103 [ref. 24488]). •Valid as Protemblemaria punctata Cervigón 1966 -- (Böhlke & Cervigón 1967:2 [ref. 20754], Hastings 1997:758 [ref. 23518], Hastings 2001:128 [ref. 25781], Williams 2003:1767 [ref. 27109], Patzner et al. 2009:471 [ref. 30396]). Current status: Valid as Protemblemaria punctata Cervigón 1966. Chaenopsidae. Distribution: Western Atlantic: Venezuela. Habitat: marine.
