Type catalog: Bertin & Estève 1950:47 [ref. 19575], Conci & Michelangeli 1974:226 [ref. 21560], Ferraris & Vari 1992:16 [ref. 19771], Ferraris 2007:153 [ref. 29155]. •Valid as Uegitglanis zammaranoi Gianferrari 1923 -- (Teugels 1986:101 [ref. 6193], Burgess 1989:147 [ref. 12860], Poll & Gosse 1995:193 [ref. 24781], Romero & Paulson 2001:25 [ref. 26040], Proudlove 2006:127 [ref. 28992], Ferraris 2007:153 [ref. 29155]). Current status: Valid as Uegitglanis zammaranoi Gianferrari 1923. Clariidae. Distribution: Caves near the Uegit and Uebi Scebeli rivers, Somalia. Habitat: freshwater.
