See Das 2003:354 [ref. 27706] with second author Hussain. •Valid as Barilius dimorphicus Tilak & Husain 1990 -- (Menon 1999:17 [ref. 24904], Nath et al. 2010:24 [ref. 33488] with author as Husain, Mayanglambam & Vishwanath 2012:2363 [ref. 31817]). •Valid as Opsarius dimorphicus (Tilak & Husain 1990) -- (Qin et al. 2019:590 [ref. 36784]). Current status: Valid as Opsarius dimorphicus (Tilak & Husain 1990). Danionidae: Chedrinae. Distribution: India. Habitat: freshwater.
