Apparently unavailable from Hao & Hoa 1969 according to Kottelat 1989:1102 [ref. 14361], but Kottelat 2001 [ref. 25482] reversed this interpretation and dated to Nguyen & Doan [= Hao & Hoa] 1969. •Preoccupied by Lissochilus longibarbis Nguyen & Doan 1969 [ref. 25483] if that description is treated as available. •Questionably in the synonymy of Poropuntius alloiopleurus (Vaillant 1893) -- (Kottelat 2001:35 [ref. 25482], Kottelat 2013:143 [ref. 32989]).
