The genus Scaphognathus is preoccupied in Reptilia and was replaced by Scaphognathops. •Synonym of Scaphognathops bandanensis Boonyaratpalin & Srirungroj 1971 -- (Rainboth 1996:100 [ref. 22772], Kottelat 2013:160 [ref. 32989]).
