Paratypes: MNHN 1998-0471 (24); NRM 28302 (2); UFRJ 4616 (6), 4617 (6, c&s). •Valid as Fluviphylax palikur Costa & Le Bail 1999 -- (Keith et al. 2000:60 [ref. 24547], Lazara 2001:121 [ref. 25711], Lucinda in Reis et al. 2003:558 [ref. 27061], Souza et al. 2011:412 [ref. 31782], Melo et al. 2016:135 [ref. 34701], Bragança 2018:136 [ref. 36227]). Current status: Valid as Fluviphylax palikur Costa & Le Bail 1999. Fluviphylacidae. Distribution: Lower Oyapock River basin, Brazil. Habitat: freshwater.
