Current status: Valid as Pseudojuloides severnsi Bellwood & Randall 2000. Labridae. Distribution: Indo-West Pacific: Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Philippines, Ryukyu Islands and Japan, also New Caledonia. Habitat: marine.
