Proposed provisionally; specimens were still alive and could not be measured and counted. Original description not considered as valid (Neumann 2008:82 [ref. 30291]). Subsequently described as new in Valdesalici, Bellemans, Kardashev & Golubtsov 2009 [ref. 26914] and we accept that as the valid original description. •Not considered as valid as Nothobranchius nubaensis Bellemans 2003 -- (Neumann 2008:82 [ref. 30291]). •In the synonymy of Nothobranchius nubaensis Valdesalici, Bellemans, Kardashev & Golubtsov 2009.
