Type catalog: Ferraris 2007:425 [ref. 29155]. •Valid as Trichomycterus yuska Fernández & Schaefer 2003 -- (Fernández & Vari 2004:880 [ref. 28047], Ferraris 2007:425 [ref. 29155], Koerber 2011:4 [ref. 31122], Koerber 2014:8 [ref. 33621], Mirande & Koerber 2015:38 [ref. 35117], García-Melo et al. 2016:237 [ref. 34471], Fernández & Andreoli Bize 2018:366 [ref. 36232]). Current status: Valid as Trichomycterus yuska Fernández & Schaefer 2003. Trichomycteridae: Trichomycterinae. Distribution: Arroyo Aguas Calientes, Catamarca Province, western Argentina. Habitat: freshwater.
