namxamensis, Sineleotris Chen [I-S.] & Kottelat [M.] 2004:44, Figs. 1-2 [Platax 2004 (1); ref. 28286] Small creek entering Nam Xam on road from Xam Tai to Ban Tao, about 16 kilometers from Xam Tai, 19°55'09"N, 104°43'57"E, Houay Cha Khou, Houaphan Province, Laos. Holotype: ZRC 48664. Paratypes: CMK 15313 (22), LARREC uncat. (6), NMMB P-2055 (6), ZRC 48665 (6). Appeared first in an unavailable way in ref. 25482 (see separate record). •Valid as Sineleotris namxamensis Chen & Kottelat 2004 -- (Kottelat 2013:388 [ref. 32989]). •Possibly valid as Microdous namxamensis (Chen & Kottelat 2004) -- (Hu et al. 2023:11 [ref. 40052]). Current status: Valid as Sineleotris namxamensis Chen & Kottelat 2004. Odontobutidae. Distribution: Southeast Asia: northeastern Laos. Habitat: freshwater.
