Type catalog: Ferraris 2007:132 [ref. 29155], Mojica & Agudelo-Zamora 2018:44 [ref. 36127]. •Valid as Cetopsis fimbriata Vari, Ferraris & de Pinna 2005 -- (de Pinna et al. 2007:803 [ref. 29247], Ferraris 2007:132 [ref. 29155], DoNascimiento et al. 2017:84 [ref. 35633], Abrahão & de Pinna 2018:117 [ref. 35957]). Current status: Valid as Cetopsis fimbriata Vari, Ferraris & de Pinna 2005. Cetopsidae: Cetopsinae. Distribution: Atrato River basin, Caribbean versant of northwestern Colombia. Habitat: freshwater.
