Paratypes: VNCNTTS I: H.01.92.05.02 (2). •Synonym of Bangana xanthogenys (Pellegrin & Chevey 1936), but a valid subspecies songloensis Nguyen 2002 as described. •Synonym of Bangana xanthogenys (Pellegrin & Chevey 1936) -- (Kottelat 2013:76 [ref. 32989]). •Synonym of Decorus xanthogenys (Pellegrin & Chevey 1936). Current status: Synonym of Decorus xanthogenys (Pellegrin & Chevey 1936). Cyprinidae: Labeoninae. Habitat: freshwater.
