Plus non-types. •Valid as Aphanius saourensis Blanco, Hrbek & Doadrio 2006 -- (Kottelat & Freyhof 2007:489 [ref. 29996], Esmaeili et al. 2018:7 [ref. 36738], Kärst et al. 2020:146 [ref. 38165]). •Valid as Apricaphanius saourensis (Blanco, Hrbek & Doadrio 2006) -- (Freyhof & Yoğurtçuoğlu 2020:442 [ref. 37656]). Current status: Valid as Apricaphanius saourensis (Blanco, Hrbek & Doadrio 2006). Aphaniidae. Distribution: North Africa: western and north-western Algeria. Habitat: freshwater.
