Type catalog: Moore et al. 2008:29 [ref. 30117]. •Valid as Pseudocaranx dinjerra Smith-Vaniz & Jelks 2006 -- (Smith-Vaniz 2008:577 [ref. 30654], Springer & Smith-Vaniz 2008:30 [ref. 31826], Bearham et al. 2019:[B] [ref. 36963]). Current status: Valid as Pseudocaranx dinjerra Smith-Vaniz & Jelks 2006. Carangidae: Caranginae. Distribution: Southeastern Indian Ocean: Shark Bay south to Lancelin (Western Australia). Habitat: marine.
