Distribution: Indo-West Pacific: Eastern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal (South Africa), East Africa, Socotra (Yemen) and western Mascarenes (La RĂ©union) east to Papua New Guinea, north to southern Japan, south to Shark Bay (Western Australia), southern Queensland (Australia) and Lord Howe Island (Australia). Habitat: brackish, marine.
