Type catalog: Shibata et al. 2011:20 [ref. 31469]. •Valid as Phoxacromion kaneharai Shibukawa, Suzuki & Senou 2010 -- (Shibata et al. 2011:20 [ref. 31469] as kanemurai, Parenti 2021:210 [ref. 38603]). Current status: Valid as Phoxacromion kaneharai Shibukawa, Suzuki & Senou 2010. Gobiidae: Gobiinae. Distribution: Northwstern Pacific: Ryukyu Islands (Japan) endemic. Habitat: marine.
