fulvostriatus, Obliquogobius Chen [I-S.], Jaafar [Z.] & Shao [K.-T.] 2012:270-272, Figs. 1-2 [Zootaxa No. 3367; ref. 32041] Kumejima, Ryukyu Islands, Japan, 26°14.686'N, 126°49.623'E, depth 141-165 meters, triangular dredge. Holotype (unique): NSMT P 102090. Spelled two ways, twice as fluvostriatus and 7 times as fulvostriatus. Etymology describes fulvostriatus, so the spelling fluvostriatus is regarded as a printer's error and rejected. •Valid as Obliquogobius fulvostriatus Chen, Jaafar & Shao 2012 -- (Fricke 2022:7 [ref. 39459]). Current status: Valid as Obliquogobius fulvostriatus Chen, Jaafar & Shao 2012. Gobiidae: Gobiinae. Distribution: Northwestern Pacific: Ryukyu Islands, Japan. Habitat: marine.
