Replacement for Eptatretus wisneri McMillan 1999, preoccupied by Paramyxine wisneri Kuo et al. 1994 when in Eptatretus. •Valid as Eptatretus bobwisneri Fernholm, Norén, Kullander, Quattrini, Zintzen, Roberts, Mok & Kuo 2013 -- (Angulo & Del Moral-Flores 2016:100 [ref. 34472], Mincarone 2017:2 [ref. 35376], Mincarone et al. 2021:4 [ref. 38120]). Replacement Name. Current status: Valid as Eptatretus bobwisneri Fernholm, Norén, Kullander, Quattrini, Zintzen et al. 2013. Myxinidae: Eptatretinae. Distribution: Eastern Pacific: Galápagos Islands (Ecuador). Habitat: marine.
