incognitus, Diplomystes Arratia [G.] & Quezada-Romegialli [C.] 2017:30, Figs. 4B, 8B-C, 14, 15B, 18 [PeerJ 5:e2991; ref. 35155] Melado River, Andean region of Linares, Maule Basin, Región del Maule, Chile, 35°430'10"S, 71°04'09"W. Holotype: MNHNCL ICT 7538a. Paratypes: MNHNCL ICT. Plus additional non-type material. Paratype CAS 55426 is this species, not D. nahuelbutaensis [ref. 35155]. •Valid as Diplomystes incognitus Arratia & Quezada-Romegialli 2017 -- (Muñoz-Ramírez et al. 2023:8 [ref. 40526]). Current status: Valid as Diplomystes incognitus Arratia & Quezada-Romegialli 2017. Diplomystidae. Distribution: South America: Rapel, Mataquito, Maule and Itata River basins, Chile. Habitat: freshwater.
