Plus additional non-type material. •Valid as Corydoras caramater Tencatt, Couto, Santos & Sousa 2024 -- (Dias et al. 2024:23 [ref. 41219], Tencatt et al. 2024:21 [ref. 41298]). Current status: Valid as Corydoras caramater Tencatt, Couto, Santos & Sousa 2024. Callichthyidae: Corydoradinae. Distribution: South America: Xingu River tributaries draining the region of the Volta Grande do Xingu and upper Tapajós River drainage in the region of Jacareacanga, Pará State, Brazil Habitat: freshwater.
