Laos, 18°51'44"N, 103°59'16"E, elevation 804 meters. Holotype (unique): MHNG 2792.002. •Valid as Oreoglanis brevicula Ng & Kottelat 2024. Current status: Valid as Oreoglanis brevicula Ng & Kottelat 2024. Sisoridae: Glyptosterninae. Distribution: Southeast Asia: Nam Kading River drainage, Mekong River basin, northern central Laos. Habitat: freshwater.
